In the last twenty years, Supreme House Movers Ltd. located in Maple Ridge, BC have expanded from the house moving and
raising industry to include many unique relocation projects. In
addition to moving some very delicate heritage buildings, we have
moved yachts, submarines, tanks, vessels, ferry modules, industrial
equipment, and large commercial buildings. Many of these projects
involved the design and fabrication of specialized moving equipment.
Moving a House

The owner of this 3000+ sqf house, centered in a large lot of an affluent neighborhood, was able to subdivide his property by relocating his home to one side of the lot, thus allowing for new construction on the other side. |
A steel support structure, assembled beneath the building, was used to lift the structure from its original foundation. |

Steel tracks were laid out to carry the house from the center of the property to its new location nearer the property line. |
The building traveled along the tracks, to sit a few feet above the excavation for the new foundation. |

After the new foundations had been poured, the house was lowered into its final position. |
